Karen has a talent for redesigning room layouts and décor. She puts this skill to the test every time she helps her clients visualize the ‘Diamond in the Rough’ that could be their new home. She loves working with Buyers to find the right home that they can make their own — whether it means just a fresh coat of paint or a major renovation.
When representing Sellers, Karen uses her artistic side and practical know-how to provides her clients with an impartial eye as they prepare their home to hit the market. Since most buyers eliminate houses from consideration using online photos, she knows how important making is a good first impression is to get the right Buyers in the door.
Karen is from the Eastern Shore and moved to the area with her fiancé to start their family. They felt that this area was ideal for both of them to pursue their passions. She was able to start her career in real estate, while he opened a local restaurant, Heritage 485. They love Calvert County and look forward to growing their family and businesses in this community.
After graduating with a BS in Mathematics from Salisbury University, Karen joined the United States Coast Guard. She was assigned to the tall ship USCGC Eagle and became a Boatswain Mate. After six years of service, she transitioned to the USCG Reserves.
In her spare time, Karen enjoys spending time outdoors in the vegetable garden or on the playground with her son.
