RE/MAX One is not your ordinary Brokerage. We opened our doors just over 5 years ago on January 1, 2012, in our Prince Frederick location with just 4 agents. Our first year in business, RE/MAX One had total sales volume of just over $10 Million. However, by the end of that first year, we had 11 agents which set the stage for us to close over $27 Million in 2013. Since that time, our Agent count and sales volume have both dramatically increased each year. In fact, we closed $40 Million in total sales volume in 2014, $155 Million in 2015 and almost $290 Million in 2016!

That is, we treat our agents like they are our customers and we will do whatever it takes to provide our agents with ‘knock your socks off service.’
Evidently, this is not normal in the real estate brokerage industry where many brokers consider their agents as a ‘necessary nuisance.’ This is not our attitude toward our agents.
In fact, our goal is to create a “Raving Fan” out of each and every one of our agents. This level of service helps our Agents succeed in their business, earn more money and achieve greater satisfactory with less stress.

RE/MAX One agents have the security of knowing that their Broker and the majority of the office managers are attorneys.
These attorneys are available to assist agents in writing amendments to contracts and ensuring that contracts are clear, unambiguous, and enforceable. At RE/MAX One it is standard practice to consult an attorney for all questions about Title, Ownership, Interpretations, and to help agents to protect the interests of their clients.
Our Broker and Office Managers understand that time is of the essence in our industry and provide in-depth answers to agent’s questions almost immediately. Waiting on a reply will not be the reason a contract falls through, or a deal is lost!
REASON NUMBER 4:
OUR BROKER AND MANAGERS DO NOT COMPETE WITH OUR AGENTS
Office Managers are given the responsibility to distribute leads and have access to all of the deals in the office. We firmly believe it is a bad business model to allow managers to list and sell real estate while in this position.
Consequently, neither our Broker nor any of the Managers are permitted to list and sell real estate for their account. To allow that would be inconsistent with our philosophy and mission. Our Broker and office managers have a duty to put Agents First.
REASON NUMBER 5:
WE PROVIDE TRUE VALUE TO OUR AGENTS
Our commission plans are set up to provide real value to our agents. Contrary to what you may have heard about RE/MAX, our fees are extremely reasonable, and our commission splits are very generous.
In fact, with our most popular commission plan, our agents keep 95% of the first $100,000 in commissions earned and then keep 98% of all commissions over and above that threshold!
And those are true percentages – that is, there is no 5% or 6% brokerage fee taken out before calculating the agent’s split. So, when we say 98%, we mean 98%!
Just looking at the numbers we can beat nearly any other brokerage out there. Plus, when you add in the fact that we charge NO REFERRAL FEES and have 5 CONVENIENT LOCATIONS, the value we give our agents is second to none.
